Security
Documeznt Level Security:
- Documents are encrypted and stored in the server as configured.
- Only authorized users can view, update, and delete the document.
- Users are authenticated before granting access to the system
System Level Security:
- Different levels of authority are given to system user and supervisors. For better security, system is accessed using username and password.
- One-way encryption is used for password security.
- Documents passed over the Network are encrypted with 64-bit key so that unauthorized users cannot tap it.
- DocBLITZ’s document repository is encrypted.\

Search
Key based search (information regarding the document):
- Documents can be retrieved quickly using defined keywords. Search can be based on combination of key values and contents on the document.
Content based search:
- Contents within the documents can be searched efficiently, within a few seconds. Flexible and incremental indexing, Documents are displayed according to the ranks of content search.
Combination of key and content based search.
- Documents can be search by key and their conents as well. This search is the combination of key based search and content based search that is performed at a single time.
User Groups
Users can be grouped together so that a particular group can have appropriate view/update/delete permissions on a particular document type.
Administrative and User functionality
Administrative users can create other users, group them and give appropriate permissions to operate on particular document types. They can also create and define project and document types.
Users can search, view, update and delete the documents based on the permissions set up by administrative user.
Image Viewer
Inbuilt Image Viewer allows different image operation such scale, rotate, blur sharp and transpose. It supports different file formats viz. jpg, jpeg, bmp, png, gif, tif, tiff etc.
Integration with Scanner
DocBLITZ can be integrated with external scanner device so that user need not switch between scanner application and DocBLITZ resulting in convenient interface for users.
Integration with external data source
Organizations may already have enterprise-wise data and other existing computerized systems. It is preferred to complement DocBLITZ with such systems. DocBLITZ makes easier to interchange data from existing system.
- User can define the data source for database and also a rule/query to extract the data from particular data source.
- Information already available in some form need not be re-entered in DocBLITZ
- Saves time during Key based document submission.
Most of the enterprises have their own automated systems and in most of the cases, It is preferred to complement DocBLITZ with such systems (computerized or otherwise). DocBLITZ makes easier to interchange data from existing system. User can define the data source for database and also a rule/query to Extract the data from particular data source depending upon some “key value”.
For example: if the customer information is already present in another database DocBLITZ can extract customer information depending upon a “key value” in this case “customer number”.
General Query facility
Facility to enter and execute user defined general queries. The queries are predefined, given a name and later associated with a group. This provides the facility to associate the desired queries to the desired groups and also execute the query without having to type repeatedly.
Users can create custom reports using this facility. Such reports can be associated with the desired groups so that users of such authorized groups can view the reports. The generated reports may be viewed or printed as required.
